I had the same feelings as you do, but in the age of the internet and 55 years old, I find that you just can't expect someone you are interested in is going to knock on your door. You have to go with technology and the internet is it. It's going to be disappointing at times, but I feel if you keep at it, you will find the right one.

I tried online dating, but it did not work for me. One reason, I have this old fashion belief that too meet someone should be done naturally. Online I felt I was searching. I feel when the right man comes along we both will know, having the contraction and making the connection. More on dating > Add value to social networking at http://determined2.com where members can more effectively work on lifestyle and resolutions

I know several of my friends have dated from online dating, and have had very good results making lasting relationships. I could not get over the feelings I had so I decided to sign off. Has anyone else had these same feelings?
